When does Ricky Ray's Contract end?

Does anyone knows when does Ricky Ray's contract ends??? I remember he signed a muti-years contract. And what does muti-years contracts means anyways??? isn't it 2 years or 3 years???

Same with me. Hopefully he's done with his NFL dream and won't try that route again. With how durable he has been during his time here, and if he remains effective, he could still be here 10 years from now. Hopefully this is the case.

I feel the same way. And with all of the success he's had at such a young age, I can't see him leaving anytime soon. He could even have a couple of "off" seasons but he'd still be forgiven and still stick around, IMO.

While I too think that RR is in G&G for good, stranger things have happened.
We thought Dunigan would always be here. Allen pushed him out/he left for greener pastures.
We thought Allen would always be here. Ham pushed him out/he left for greener pastures.

I don't see RR as a 'follow the money' type of guy, but you never know. And if a young QB pushes RR to the door then he could become expendable.

However, I don't see any of that happening in the next few years.

I just hope that we don't think Ray becomes expendable because we want something new. Let's face it, RR's style of play can be boring at times. But, we're not going to get a better QB, as exciting as another QB may be, RR is gonna give us the best chance to win, and I hope he's here for his career.

you never know when and how strong the kids beneath him develop and push for a starting role.....between Jyles, Lefors, and maybe Zabransky down the line......who's to say.....???

i thought that next year was his last year under the current contract, but it might be this year as well

Kind of neat looking back at that thread. We signed him and we won the cup. Sure there may have been some discrepancies along the way but a Grey Cup was still earned by the Esks.

Woah! Woah! Woah! We sign RR and all of a sudden we have fans who are conceding the Grey Cup to the Esks. Give me a break.
