That's the story of the Edmonton Eskimos' plunge to the basement of the West Division after losing 34-32 last night to the Calgary Stampeders at Commonwealth Stadium.
In exact order, the Green and Gold lost all-star receiver Jason Tucker before the game to a knee problem.

The Edmonton Eskimos lost their defensive leader when A.J. Gass lost his head and set some sort of CFL record for helmet-tossing.
And the Eskimos lost the game when they pulled their best player, quarterback Ricky Ray, for two plays from inside 2 1/2 yards.

Tyler Ebell can't seem to catch a break.
Stripped of his running back duties after Week 2 of the season so a healthy Ron McClendon could return to the roster, Ebell is now injured.
In the midst of a great game against the Calgary Stampeders last night, the Edmonton Eskimos rookie sprained his left shoulder.
INNOCENT-LOOKING TACKLE
Rumbling on another solid play early in the third quarter, he got hurt on an innocent looking tackle into the Edmonton bench.
