    McClendon did have a team-high nine catches for 71 yards, though, against Hamilton.

    In a stat the Esks would like to change, the club is averaging 11 penalties a game. The Saskatchewan Roughriders - this week's opponent on Saturday in Regina - took just four penalties last week.

    Kevin Lefsrud's football career will end if he suffers another concussion this season.

    After suffering his second concussion of this football season on Saturday night, the Edmonton Eskimos guard has implemented a three-strikes-and-he's-out policy.

    "If I get a third concussion (this season) that will be it," said Lefsrud on the phone yesterday.

    That would totally sucks if Lefsrud retires again. We just got back the OL that we really needed from last year. I hope he stays, because we really need him right now.

      That would really suck for Lefsrud because he's been so valuable to the Eskimos in the past; however, he has not looked very good this year.

        I notice in regards to Lefsrud's pic in the paper today that he's not wearing Riddell's RevolutionT helmet (designed especially to reduce concussions).

        If he comes back, I hope Dwayne can fix him up with one.....
        Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.
