Here is what we need next year

1. Rich Stubler as Head Coach. He should have been hired in the first place.

2. Failing that, hire Greg Marshall as Head Coach, he has paid his dues as well.

3. Hire Adam Rita as our GM.

4. A kicker.

5. A revamped offense. I hate to say it, but the offense hasn't had heart this year. They have been the biggest reason we have lost games this year.

A kick returner. We haven't had one since 2005. He doesn't seem all that interested in changing his failing ways. Running forward would be the first step.

The only bright spot has been the defence. After they got rid of the stupid three man rush they have been great. Too bad the rest of the team isn't contributing.

Rita isn't the answer; they win/play in spite of him, not because of him.

Fleming will probably retire. Bakker is a Canadian and unless we get someone better he is at least a backup. Gaylor is too inconsistent and should sit out some games in favour of a new receiver now. Thompkins will probably be gone. Maybe we can get Levingston (nah).

Especially Gaylor. I've wanted him gone ever since the '05 Grey Cup when he dropped a sure TD pass in the 1st quarter and then an easy one in overtime that could have been lethal.
He got the benefit of the doubt after a brutal season last year with a decent start this season. But now....they roll the dice every time they throw to him. It's 50-50 whether he makes a catch or not.
I'm sorry, but he's been given enough chances. You CANNOT keep a guy like that on the roster with as many drops as he's had. It's time for a major upgrade at that position.
When LeFors desperately needed help today....he drops the long ball...a completion on that play could have made a huge difference.

An o-line that can stop the pass rush. These guys are brutal.
Get rid of Gaylor
Biggest improvement would be to get rid of Maciocia. He seems to be okay with mediocrity from his players. Has anyone ever seen him chew out a player on the sidelines?
