    Esks by the numbers: 80-89

    80 RALPH, Brock 2003/04/05

    81 HERVEY, Ed 1999-2006

    82 FLUTIE, Darren 1996/97

    83 TUCKER, Jason 2002-Present

    84 BRAZZELL, Chris 2001/02

    85 McCORVEY, Kez 2000/01
    GAYLOR, Trevor 2005-Present
Tough call, IMO. Gaylor has outstanding potential, but can be petulant. McCorvey could have been one of the all-time greats, IMO, but his knees gave out and his ministerial calling took him away from the game far too early.

    86 BOBO, Phillip 1999
    MONTANA, Denis 2000
    ALSTON, Richard 2006
I'll leave this one up to all of you...

    87 MITCHELL, Derrell 2004/05/06

    88 NOWACKI, Andrew 2004-Present

    89 BLUGH, Leroy 1989-99

Huh. Guess all the old-time receivers like Scott and Coffey and whoever else didn't wear 80-numbers, eh?

As for 85, I'd go with Kez. Gaylor's just been cut, and Kez was a ton more consistent, too.

Plus, he had an awesome name.

Note to KP... switch jersey to #84, 85 or 86 ... we need some better names on this part of the list!
      Turf Toe:
      - "...turf toe is a common malady that is more of a nuisance than a serious injury."
      - "Turf toe can often progress into a chronic problem..."
      - "A mild instance of turf toe (grade 1) can be merely aggravating while a serious case (grade 3) can be debilitating."

        80. Bob Kimoff
        81. Swerve
        82. Darren Flutie
        83. Tuck
        84. Johnny Bright (even if he wore it once, it beats the others...)
        85. Kez McKorvey - Matthews called him the best route runner since Brian Kelly - good enough for me
        86. Ray Enright
        87. Mookie
        88. Gino Fracas
        89. Leroy Blugh - you know the rest.... Does this means he's going to be pissed at me again?

Yeah, but Dies... it's Matthews - what does a defensive coach know about receivers - other than "that's the guy that beat us in our last game..."?

          Y' know what I mean?
