    What is up with the Sun

    I've noticed every day so far any Eskie news has always been in the middle of the sports section... IMO Eskie news should be front and center in the sports section..I'd love to see the Media back the Esks even 1/5th the amount they back the Oilers...


    Here is what was on the pages of the Sports this morning


    Cover: NHL last night.

    Page 2-4 : NHL

    Page 5: Oilers

    Page 6: CFL ( NOT the Esks)

    Page 7: Avertisment

    Page 8-9: FINALLY Some Esks news.

    Probably they were told to stop getting story ideas from this site and because of that they don't have anything to talk about!

    Turf Toe:

      so if Detroit would jsut stop playing with their food and get it the hell over with, then maybe the world can move on and realize football has actually started. of course the NHL draft will probably still be "more important news" in a couple months than the CFL season in full swing...

          It's bothered me for years....and the media in this town is one of the main reasons I have had a dislike for the Oilers (and a falling intetest in the NHL) for years.


          Or maybe they're just doing it to bug you for not blurbing and linking their articles......

            Maybe if they had the Training Camp in a trailer park or had the cheer team doing some mud wrestling the SUN would give it the front page!

                  SUN=Garbage

                  At least the Journal has put an Esks article on the front page of their sports section for about two weeks now, aside from the Monday Morning Sports section.

                    The Sun isn't the only media outlet that is Esks-light in coverage. I think maybe it has something to do with the Esks, not the media.

                      they've been that way for 20 years.....it's the media's priority to over cover the Oilers and the NHL in general.....

                            Personally I don't care, I don't like the Sun as a paper anyway. It's badly organized, and their best articles are the exact same ones found in the Journal, and the rest? Well, they're crap at best.
