Assuming we sign Swerve though...I think we need a solid offensive tackle more than anything else. Luke Fritz, Chris Burns or Masouli (sp?)

Personally, being a Bomber fan, Cope seems destined to be in E-Town or Cow Town. With that in mind, and financially speaking, I'm going with Ed Hervey.

Beerfish, Sherko Haji-Rasouli (if you are thinking of the Montreal OG) has already been re-inked. Honestly, if I was to pick a player for the Eskies, it would be Carl Kidd. Chris Burns really isn't that great. Expressed some interest in heading to Winnipeg or BC, but appears to be settling back into Ottawa. Fritz is either going to the NFL, or back to Montreal.

first order of buisness.....re-sign Swerve (am I sounding like a broken record yet?)....after that, I think stealing Eiben would be a big help to the LB corp plus a boost ratio wise....Wheaton would also be a good steal for the secondary and of couse some help in the form of an offensive tackle....not sure if Fritz will stick in the NFL, would be sweet to lure him away from Montreal....

once the house is in order, Eiben would be great...but the team needs depth players on the OL and DL and LB and DB and QB...this may be the year the Esks don't sign a big name, instead they get themselves a few good men to improve the very thin bench.

Last night on Sportline in Sask they had a Barrett interview where he stated that Corey Grant was given an offer, but said that he wants to test the market. DB made a remark something along the lines of - these guys say that they want to be here & you send them an offer, and then they don't respond - maybe you learn a little about players there.
He is a pretty good Canadian slot & might soften the blow of losing Ralph while at the same time weakening the opposition...just a FA thought to throw out there

After doing a little digging into this guy a while back, I'd second that. We could use another guy with great hands. We've had a long list of guys who weren't necessarily the fastest guys out there but always seemed to make that great catch when necessary. I wanna see him in action m'self!
