....you've given me an idea for an all-time best Eskimo hands poll....I might put up a fight with George McGowan against that tough Tommy Scott pick....Howdy Doody and Sandman might make that poll too....

I voted for TV for now, but Brian Kelly had the softest hands ever, Rick House was close.
The most consecutive playoff years ever!!!!

you do that and I wouldn't vote... I liked all those guys way too much! ;-)

GM had great hands but his real move was to come back to the ball, then pull a spin move and get an extra 4 or more yards

BK was the stealth route runner, not to take anything away from his catching ability (which was beyond superior), but that fact enabled him to get into a good catching position more often. The fact that he caught passes from Warren Moon - who could put a little bit of zip on the ball! - has to enter into the consideration.

JS had scary hands, combined with stellar route running but he also had 'the gloves'.

TS made a lot of his great catches with no gloves and in the middle - catching the ball in traffic, hanging on, getting nailed... and then got up as if it was no big whoop.

I remember watching him warm up before a game many moons ago. Helmet on, he ran at near full speed, the qb launched the ball, TS adjusted so that the ball was coming directly behind him, he didn't lose a stride while tilting his head straight back (not to one side or the other), put his hands out and watched the ball right into his hands. Try doing that without a helmet or even without trying to catch a ball!

Also played in a GC game with a world class hangover once!

Softest hands? well if you are the centre you better hope it's the QB! ;-)

If the balls thrown reasonably well, Tucker catches it 90% of the time.
I told those f***s down at the league office a thousand times that I don't roll on Shabbos!

he had the dropsies in a couple games this year, but so did TV....IMO it comes down to Tuck's ability to catch some balls that have no buisness being caught (eg. Calgary game, flat out sick catch while his helmet was being ripped off)

Even if the ball is thrown poorly, Tucker will catch it more than 90% of the time...He definatley gets my vote!
