buses to Calgary for Labour Day Game

Anyone know if there are any "family-friendly" buses making the trip that day. I'm taking my kids, so don't want to go one of the party buses.

As I remember it, especially at McHole, there is no such thing as "family-friendly" on Labor Day!

On Labor Day, Stamps' fans use kids for target practice.

I have a hard hat and we have two giant flags that may or may not be shoved up a Stamps fans ass after the Esks **** kick the Stamps.

In other words, I'm good to go

              No such thing .

Three of us will have to drive for various reasons, so at the worst only two of us will be loaded... not too worried. Though if someone dares waste beer.....

Put the flags on the ends of your row.

I'll be above in the middle and we'll pyramid it.

Being perfectly honest? I wouldn't take kids on a road trip game if it was me, at least not to Calgary or Regina. The rowdy factor of CFL fans has taken a turn for the worst the last few years.

Well, maybe I'm too idealistic, or just a stick in the mud. But do we really want a league we can't take our kids to?

I think having your kids there is fine.

However... if their ears are virgins right now, they won't be in 9 days. Heck, you may learn a new word or two

As for rowdiness... it's good, so long as it's a controlled rowdy. Fans should be loud, there should be heckling, and violence is generally pretty contained. There are incidents, but that's inevitable with 50,000+ people somewhere. There's a few idiots... but meh.

The idiot factor in McHole is exponentially higher for LD

Agreed. I've been to LD games in Calgary, and didn't find things crossed the line. In fact, I was impressed at the balance between emotion and sanity.

But the whole beginning of this discussion was not about me taking my kids to the game -- but finding a bus to take them there on

call the esks office, they might have some info on companies that are running charters
