    Mann Back

    Right Mann for job?
Wide receiver back in Eskimos fold after his NFL shot with Washington
    By JONATHAN HUNTINGTON, SUN MEDIA

Expect to see Maurice Mann resurface with the Edmonton Eskimos today.

The talented wide receiver told Sun Media he anticipates being able to practise with the Eskimos today.

Cut by the Washington Redskins on Aug. 30, Mann played the waiting game in the NFL for nearly a week - but when his phone didn't ring with a contract offer from another team, he ventured north.

Good news. When Big Commie and Braidwood get back in the line-up, bye-bye Broke Ralph.

    Bad link E4E.

Might not even take that long to see Mann. Puts some immediate pressure on our import receivers.
When you don't know that you don't know, it's a lot different than when you do know that you don't know.

Yeah, I hear you. I'd still like to see us line up with Campbell, Stamps and Mann - if possible - and that's not possible until we get Big Commie and Braidwood back. Kelly Campbell better not have too many games like the last one - I hear Mann has speed to burn as well.

The line up of those 3 + don't forget KP8, is some serious sh*t.

Yeah, no kidding. The reason I didn't include Kp8 was because I was just talking import receivers. Even though he's an American, and still lives in Maryland in the off-season, Kp8 is considered a non-import by the CFL because he played his first ball in Windsor, ON - not in the States.

Well, we are going to be pushed tight for our import ratio. Braidwood and Comiskey will help that, but that means getting rid of some of the imports we have now. I'm thinking Onatalu, Armstrong, and Young are on the outs.....it might be time to bring Okpro in, to at least back-up at safety.

I read somewhere that he ran the 40 in 4.3.

We still need to keep Young around to play at safety. If Shabazz goes back to OLB, then Onatalu is expendable...

                      That's not bad speed, eh?

Armstrong has been one of our best O-lineman this year. Getting rid of him would be dumb. I know with the ratio thing it doesn't help, but getting him off the line would be a major step back in my opinion.

Tough to delete either Stamps or Campbell right now, but if Campbell has another stinker against Hamilton, the decision gets easier!!

Armstrong and Onatatalu? Don't think so. If the Esks make a change on their o-line I'm betting Garrick Jones gets removed before Armstrong. Onatalu is a big time special teams player and has actually played decent in my mind at LB. If Comiskey comes back i'm betting on Jones sitting and if Braidwood comes back a guy like clutts might sit (as much as it pains me to say that.)
