I think Scouts info is very reliable. I've heard some rumblings and rumors around the league that Marcus was in Montreal today, and recently agreed on a contract with Popp, according to some fans.
Besides, remember he was also right about Dubuc?Comment

I have read reports that it is the signing of Jenkins although Crandell might be joining the Al's soon as well. It will be interesting to see if Matthews will be more patient with him than he was last time.
To me it was never about what I accomplished on the football field, it was about the way I played the game.

I had heard they were interviewing him in Montreal......I thought they wanted to find out what position he plays....

No press release from the Als yet, i think their waiting to have sign the contract before announcing it
j/k he was in town, i am not that wild about having him here, the guy is too hot and cold and does not have the mind to be a top QB in this league IMO.

From RDS it seems Popp has made an offer to Crandell as a backup, he stated he has to meet with Wpg and Esk since they have some interest, so no it does not sound like a done deal yet.
Also the report says they tested MJ to see how ell is ankle was, seem he had surgery by the same doctor that treated TOwens, Popp thinks he is 100% recoverred but needs to get his physical conditionning back to a proper level, which he thinks he will do in the coming months.Comment
