I figure at best we're 50/50 on getting someone who'll be better than adequate. So I'm in no rush to have what little hope I have left, crushed.
It's sad really; we've got the best QB in the league,some really good receivers, a talented backfield, some really good defensive players.
And now we need someone who can make them champions. Good Luck.

How can you not hire a Richie Hall?
You know what I find funny is Terry Jones referring to Maciocia as a chubby elf. Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

Bang on.. We dont need to make major roster overhauls and since most of the guys have left town for the year we can't really put in much in terms of schemes so why rush the hire? As long as we have a coach by the time free agency comes around and he's a decent hire I'm happy.

I think he would be the best fit. That way we can reduce Rick Campbell's role, and still keep Worman and Thorpe.

Another good article by Terry Jones today, breaking down all the candidates. He seems to think Richie Hall is the best choice, as well.

I hope we had enough of the appearance jokes once our new coach is in. As far as I know Richie Hall is a short guy too, but I think he is the best candidate for the job (or Chris Jones).

BTW, I really hope we hire new blood and not anyone internally or with an old connection to the Esks.

That's what Jonathan Huntington said a week ago. I hope we get Richie and Mo Lloyd and Anton Mackenzie in one stroke. That would be more devastating to the Riders than losing Kerry Joseph any day.
