18 carries. I like it. They set up much of the play action/screen game that paid off nicely
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

I believe this puts Ciezki at 10 special teams tackles for the season so far which puts him in first place overall in the CFL all by himself (for now).

McCarty is currently third place at 6 ST tackles.

Ciezki is on pace to finish with over thirty STs on the year if he can stay healthy and beat the inevitable double teams.

The former Huskie is doing us proud!!

Indeed...the Als started figuring the run out towards the end, though.

I never thought I'd say it, but I think we might need more variety in run plays.

        I think you're right.

Ciezki has 10 and he's on top. McCarty now has 6, as does Kit Jones, and Nugent has 7.

Jason Nugent has 7 ST tackles on the season as well. We're getting quite a few Eskimos in the top of the ST tackles list!

which means we're punting a lot? hopefully that can become more kickoffs than punts.

I think you may have a minor mistake GF2.
The Als longest pass was only 20 yards which is a very telling stat in how our defence played IMO.

No more than anyone else, it seems, at least punt-wise...

                MTL: 20
                CGY: 31
                HAM: 32
                EDM: 35
                BC: 36
                TOR: 36
                SSK: 36
                WPG: 52

Throw out MTL and WPG outliers and the avg is between 34 and 35. Nothing wrong with where we are at this point.

It's probably just that we have a few guys making a lot of the tackles.

I think we had a lot of 2-outs in those ugly games that we don't want to talk about but the improved play of our offense the last couple games has balanced us out to more average.
