"I feel as the season for 2009 has came to the mid season I have no reach the goal I have set for myself as a play. I was hurt and yes before then wasn't a great start, but I promise you my finish will be much better then my beginning"
I took some time and read through Mo Lloyd's website which I found to be moderately interesting.
It is now Oct 1st and the website has not been updated since Sept 20th which is 11 days.
Kamau Peterson also has his website which I have also found to be an interesting read -- especially his comments that he made after the firing of OC Worman. Peterson has not updated his website since Sept 16th which is over two weeks.
I have no idea what Eskimo management thinks of players having their websites but the fact that neither website has been touched in over 10 days makes me wonder if Eskimo management has requested that both players lay off this activity.
Regardless, unless both players intend to keep their websites current, there really is no point in continuing them. Sure, you might say that after the past game both players have other things on their minds but remember, after they are done with their daily practice regime, the days are theirs...

...and I would be disappointed in them if they are not doing voluntary football work outside of their daily practice regime to make themselves, and the team, better. Especially in the current situation.
I'm glad there hasn't been an update because it shows they aren't focusing on it at all...which implies that they are putting more work into other areas, one of which is playing the game.

How many mandatory hours of practice are there for CFL teams? I know it's a low number, especially compared to the NFL...
"This year, we did what we were supposed to do. We fought as a team. We fought as a team. And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.

I would be surprised if it was a organizational edict, but probably more to do with other things going on... and not necessarily tied to anything that has happened on the field. All of us get busy and need to prioritize things from time to time.
KP deserves a fair bit of credit, in that he has kept the site and his blogging relatively current for quite some time and has always been good about sharing his 'insider' experience with fans through that, and other mediums. He doesn't tend to shy away in tough times, though I'd have to believe that it's a heck of a lot more enjoyable interacting with fans when the team is winning and playing well. I know I don't particularly enjoy talking about my work when things get slow, and that is with people I know. For a guy in the spotlight like that, he gets a lot of courage points not only for the hits he takes on the field, but also the hits that he stands up to (directed at his team and his teammates) off the field.
Mo is also relatively new to the website and maintenance. I have no knowledge of how involved he was in putting forth the site, but there might have been a fair bit of time poured into it and he's just taking a break or a breather.
You do make a fair point though... websites that don't offer dynamic content and updates, aren't bound to draw a lot of repeat traffic. I usually give it a few chances and delete the bookmark if there are no updates over an extended period of time.
