.........we always seem to tank a game versus a loser team each year. I seriously thought it was going to be Toronto, not Winnipeg.

But there is still a chance Toronto could sweep us. Don't forget Hamilton did it a few years back when they TOTALLY sucked.

I have to agree. I thought the crap game against Winnipeg was out of the Esks' system. If they get swept by Toronto, DM needs to be run out of Edmonton for good. I believe Richie Hall ought to be given at least until the end of next year, but I've had more than enough of DM's Reign of Terror. The Esks currently sit in fourth place, where they've resided since they won the Grey Cup, 4 years ago. They are 2 points ahead of Winnipeg with 5 to play and have lost 4 of their last 5. And just thinking about how ineffective, inept, and impotent that offence has become is enough to make me want to put my fist through drywall.

We beat the Riders. The Riders beat Winnipeg. Winnipeg beat BC. BC beat us. We beat Montreal. Montreal has beat everybody. All this being said it doesn't matter what your record is or how you played the week before. The entire league is on the same level at this point.

Well, to a certain extent you may be right. We've replaced all of our coaches, we've replaced players, we've pretty much turned over the team since DM has been employed with the Esks. The only people who haven't been replaced are DM and his white knight, RL. Eventually the Esks BOG has to get a clue and replace them, as well.

Esks aren't the only team to beat Montreal. BC did it too. Esks are in a down slide let's face it.
