Who would you rather face in the West-Semi?

Obviously we will have to go through both if we want to get the GC, but I'm going with Saskatchewan. They lost badly to Hamilton badly last week, and if they lose by a fair margin today I bet their team will be really demoralized.

A week off for Calgary could get to their player's heads, and they would have a TON of pressure on them to win the west final if they had a bye until then.

That's a tough one. I won't vote on this poll because it's none of my business but I don't think you guys should be afraid of anybody.

Get the team we've had the least success against out of the way first. Also hoping they host the semi after a severe ass-whooping from the Riders.

Considering the way we've played in Regina against the way we've played in Calgary this year, I'd rather start with the Riders, but you gotta play 'em both if you want to go to the GC, so doesn't really matter.

It honestly doesn't matter to me. Despite our play against BC, I still have a nagging feeling we'll get slaughtered in the Semis no matter who we play.

I don't care. Just play well and beat whoever you have to play next week. No more of the crap we've been forced to endure most of the second half of the season.

We've had more success against the Riders in the last couple seasons than against Calgary, must I'm still not sure who I'd want to play first. We have to play both of them at their homes anyway.

My thoughts exactly. Since the road to the Grey Cup goes through both cities, let's get Calgary out of the way first. They've given us fits all year, if we can beat them in cowtown we should be a confident bunch heading into Regina.

I hope the team doesn't become overconfident despite two blowout wins against the worst team in football followed by a decimated BC squad. However, playing Saskatchewan first, then Calgary, then Montreal would be progressively more difficult games, allowing us to slowly build true momentum. So ideally start with Saskatchewan, but don't rest on misleading stats from the past 2 games.

I don't think so. This team seems to be streaky, and we're on the upswing right now. I'm not calling a win for the Empire or anything, but I think we at least show up and keep it within 10.

I voted for the Riders. And the only reason is that I expect them to lose today and they may be reeling a little going into next week.

My logic is play the team you're more likely to beat first and keep building that confidence...

But really, it doesn't much matter. They are both very good teams and the Eskimos better be ready to fight and claw for every inch no matter who they're lined up against.
