* It could take half a year to be COMPLETELY healthy

What do you think? Will Maas be ready for exhibition games in June? Or will he miss some regular season games?

I hope the guys better but I would rather have Maas at 80% then most QB's in the league at 100. With a tough competitor with that much heart I just hope he doesnt rush or force anything. I think hes our teams Rudy.

It was said Maas' will begin throwing soon like begining of May. But like Hall said who knows how long it'll take for all his strength to return to his throwing arm. Could take 1/2 the year could take the first couple of weeks. I dont think the Esks went out and got Jones knowing Maas wouldn't be ready for 1/2 the year... I think they went and got Jones to cover their bases, and allow Jason the proper time he needs to recover... If this was last season IMO Jason would be playing from week 1 on even if his shoulder was at 80%, because we had IMO not very realiable backups.. Now we have jones.. He can come in start, relieve maas and give Maas the time he needs to be 100% healthy.. IMO we dont miss much of a step with Jones in at QB.

Jones hasn't had a crop of receivers like we have. He's probably salivating.

JM will be throwing by mid to late May in time for camp. You are going to have to drag him off the field with several wild horses before he relinquishes the starting job. Likely won't get alot of time during the preseason, but barring any setbacks between now & TC, he should be ready to go for a couple of quarters in the 'Peg & then to start on the 24th at home.

JM will be throwing by mid to late May in time for camp. You are going to have to drag him off the field with several wild horses before he relinquishes the starting job. Likely won't get alot of time during the preseason, but barring any setbacks between now & TC, he should be ready to go for a couple of quarters in the 'Peg & then to start on the 24th at home.

man I dunno, those bomber pass catcher back in 2001-2002 years were pretty good. That being said Khari has alot of motivation to prove some people wrong.

Id prefer Maas in there but really it doesnt matter if its Maas or Jones because both are competitors and both can easily tear apart defences. Which should happen about 18 times this year.
