Better us than BC or Winnipeg (on the cross-over) given how horrible all 3 teams have played this season. In a one-off game, you just never know!!

When you look at the bottom half of the league and compare how many points each team has scored and how many each have given up the Eskimos are the worst, and its not even close. Yet somehow Toronto managed to win a few games (refs helping?) they shouldn't have and Winnipeg finds ways to screw up.

I voted no on this because I don't think it looks good on the CFL when a team with a record like 5-11 (.313) gets to the Grey Cup. The fact is that if Winnipeg beats us in our last home game and the three cellar dwellers lose the rest of their games the Eskimos would make the playoffs with a 5-13 (.278) record. That would be totally embarrassing for the league.

The Eskimos have won three of their last four games and if they were to win two or all three to close out the schedule they would actually be on a bit of a roll and who knows what could happen? I hope they can win out the rest of the regular season. Somebody has to take that last playoff spot so it might as well be us. So I guess I'm moving over to the yes camp. If the CFL wants to avoid horrid teams making the playoffs they will have to add more teams or only have two playoff games instead of four.

I voted yes...for the simple reason that lacrosse is going to take long enough to get here as it is, Len. No reason to extend that dead season between CFL and NLL for up to another month.

Could be. I personally doubt it, because we won't get as lucky as we did last year with all the one-goal wins (except for that playoff game), but they should have a good run again.
