    Airlift Support

If the panic button was pressed and we had to airlift some people to help get our team back on track - whom is still out there, available to be airlifted in ?

Dlinemen, Secondary help, offensive help, special teams help ?

any ideas who is still available ?

He he he.....never too early to panic is it?
We don't need an airlift. The only area that looks like it might need some help is the secondary. Even then if we get Coleman and Crutch back in a few weeks we will be okay. Every other position is solid enough. (I don't think our O-line has played that well the first two games but we have to live with what we've got, you can't really do an airlift for NI o-lineman)

No need to panic, we are fortunate in that other teams in the West have gotten off to a rough start, we are only 1 game out of first!

I'm not in panic mode.. the question is purely hypothetical... If things where to go wrong and Higgins and co needed to airlift in some support, i was wondering, who is still out there .

Word is the Esks have someone stationed in the Jets camp to write "Pennington Sux" grafitti all over campand have it traced back to RR.

Yeah, sorry poor wording on my part, I wasn't suggesting you were in panic mode.

I think it has gotten tougher to get good people at the airlift time of the year. (nfl cuts) since they keep more people around than they used to it seems and we are competing against other leagues (even though these other leagues schedule might not coincide with ours.) If there was a place to look someone it would be the secondary I think.

If that were indeed the case, I don't think Mobes would talk so kindly with you.......

More like that NFL rule that says after so much playing time (# of games played I think) they have to pay the player a certain amount. Thus when players reach that number of games they get released so the teams don't have to pay up. Often the guys getting released are better players than their replacements but the replacements start at year one and are cheaper.

Actually it was during a conversation between me and the Don while we took in an Oilers/Leafs game.
