    Landry joins Als?

According to 13thman, Montreal has claimed Landry and he is on his way to Montreal. I have not seen a source as of yet...

    If true, this totally licks.

Great move by the Als to stick it to the Esks. Dumb move not giving Landry a second look to start the season.

          This is ridiculous.

An organization as well run as the Eskimos should not let this happen to them. I don't understand...

As I just stated on the 13th man. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! Stupid @$%#@$%@#$ We get to put up with the worst kick returner in the league and this guy is going to be a star elsewhere. Totally moronic. The Esks better go on a serious role to placate this fan..... I am royally pissed off.

                Re: Landry joins Als?

I dug up part of my post from June 12th just after the opening roster was set.

"Big mistake in keeping October over Landry in my opinion. The more I thought about it yesterday the more I hoped we would keep Landry but knew we wouldn't (after hearing Higgins post game comments).

October had a good camp no doubt but he is not going to get any better, he is past his prime. Even though he had a couple good returns he still went back to his irritating habit of letting the ball hit the ground on one kick. October has been in the league what ... 8 or 9 years and Landry 2 weeks. Landry would be better after 4 games, better yet after 8 games and better yet after a year. Even if we put Landry on the practice roster anyone can basically pick him up at any time. This is the one move that might really come back to haunt us."

                  Re: Landry joins Als?

I figured that this would happen.

For some reason, the Esks coaching staff seems stuck on certain players for no legitimate reason. Last year, Higgins had a thing with Hendricks. This year, they reinstated a complacent Winston in his spot when clearly, we need to upgrade at that position.

I'm going to be really ticked off if Landry succeeds in Montreal. If and when that happens, I'm going to be calling for somebody's head...

Landry isn't that great. I 'd prefer Dante green to replace October, but Higgins is stubborn.

This is ****ing total bull****... Higgins needs to have his head looked at...What does he see in October, are they involved with each other.. i mean look at higgins.. come on.. you know what i'm hinting at... I need more on the story than just this that was in the paper:

LATE HITS: Diminutive Esks return man Ezra Landry was added to the team's 40-man roster after the Montreal Alouettes tried to pluck him off the practice roster yesterday. But rather than attend Eskies practice, Landry reportedly cleaned out his locker. If Landry fails to turn up for practice this afternoon he will be suspended
