    i heard this on TSN, says that Reggie White was released and a WR named Kovalachucky, or something along those lines, was signed. can someone confirm this?

    Esks ink Kavanaght; release White

    (Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announced the signing of non-import wide receiver Ziehl Kavanaght to the club's practice rostre today.

    Kavanaght played four seasons at Michigan State University (’00-’03) appearing in 43 games for the Spartans recording 41 receptions for 535 yards and one TD. A double threat as a punt returner, Kavanaght also returned 80 punts for 635 yards and one touchdown. Kavanaght was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in May of 2004 and was later released.

        thanks guys....do we really need another punt returner though? it's always good to have another non-import, i wonder if he'll get playing time, and if this says anything about Kelley's or Hervey's injuries being serious

          Hopefully Brock Ralph gets cut soon from the Jets. With Hervey out we need his speed.

                now cfl.ca says we signed DB Tay Cody and transfered Kelley to INACTIVE

                    i guess so..i thought it was wrong at first cuz i thought it said Cody was signed and White was cut, but now it makes sense

                      Cody is probably going to be activated for the Hamilton game I would guess and take Kelleys spot on the roster?

                          Why wouldn't Kelley be placed on the IR?
