Well regardless of opinions on our respective O's performances, LD finally lived up to the hype again with 2 hard-fought games, and it looks like the BOA is alive and well again!

I must admit, I thought the Stamps were going to lose again tonight, so it was great seeing them win.

I was with the lady at a corporate event last night, but fortunately a bunch of guys snuck away to watch the game... and thanks to the wonderful woman I'm with, she let me go too... nothing brings strangers together like watching a good football game, esp. when there were equal number of Esk and Stamps fans!

Anyways, your D is awesome... you guys will DESTROY the Riders next week, and I still think 2nd is yours. See you for the last game of the season!

I have to disagree with you there man. Stampeders played our big weaknesses perfectly. The blitzed a lot because we have a weak O-line and any team in the league can predict our playcalling. It was totally our fault that we lost the game and congratulations to Calgary for the win

Still the Esks have not been blown out yet. Wait till they play in Taylor Field though.

Could be a good game in Regina next week. The Riders have one of the leagues best defenses and the leagues best running attack. If Marcus Crandell doesn't turn over the ball, the Riders have a good chance of pulling out a win at home.

Riders have no chance - Esks are best against the run, and - unlike Wpg - the Esks secondary can actually play up on receivers and stop those crappy 5 yard passes.
Crandell is going to turn the ball over like there's no tomorrow - he's horrible.
Put in Butler and I'll give the Riders a slight chance.

Well if thats the case, why even bother playing the game! I would of said the same thing about last nights game for the Stamps, but its the CFL man, nothing matters until the game is played.

yeah i cant see how the riders wont absolutely destroy the esks next weekend.... we ALWAYS play badly in regina, and our team isnt exactly lighting up the league

the riders are very very good against the pass, and we will not be able to run on them (cause we cant run on anybody).... the only way we win this game is if the riders turn the ball over a bunch or we get TDs from our defence or special teams

I just hope its a good game and we dont get lit up next Sunday in Regina. I just hate when we play them there. I dont think I've seen the Esks win once there in like 10 years. Unbelievable.

For once, I don't.

Our D is top-notch. Especially vs the run, and that's pretty much all SSK's got.

The question is whether our O can score enough points to beat SSK's 20 or so that will mostly come from good field position on Holmes' returns.

I don't think we'll win. But I don't think we'll get blown out, either.

Last time we beat SSK at TF was Sep 29/01 - EDM 35 SSK 19.
