Did Epstein play himself out of a spot?

I know he only missed one and his directional punting was far better, but did the door crack open for Sean to return?

To displace Sean Fleming I think he needs to be near perfect. He made one and missed one. The onside kick, while crucial and a low percentage play, was poorly executed.

Will Sean walk into DMs office and demand his job back?

IMHO if Sean misses a third consecutive game, he is finished with this team.

It's ironic how easy it was to replace Fleming but DM won't pull RR.

I think Wad should at least punt in SSK. Epstein hasn't had to deal with prairie wind yet.

Fleming needs to show what he can do in practice. Reports were that wasn't being done.

Ep had some good punts. And a long miss on a sloppy field is excusable.

I'm happy with Eptein's kicking.. but his punting is horrible.

Is he still doing poorly in practice?

What is Epstein for FG's now?

            Is it 6/7 or 5/6?

I'm not worrieds about the prairie wind, I'm worried about Holmes. Epstein hasn't punted to a 1st class punt returner as of yet. (Looks like I was wrong about Wilkins, he did dick all out there.)

No idea. The fact that Fleming HASN'T been cut means the door is still open for him.

If Fleming comes back in he won't be handling FG duties.. just punting.

Are you serious? I love his field goal kicking yes, but his kickoffs leave alot to be desired. I mean who botches an on-side kick??? Not saying that cost us the game, cuz I think that was the least of our problems from Friday night, but seriuosly, and on-side kick is easier than kicking the hell out of the thing.

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.

True enough. I thought his kickoffs improved from the labour day game, but some of them were still pretty bad. That onside kick was downright miserable.

Maybe they don't have onside kicks down in the US in the NFL.......maybe he was unfamiliar with the term!!!

Ep's Kickoffs are , IMO, bad and his punting is ok.. I really hope Wad is in there for the game in Sask. Wind, Holmes and Keith we'll need the better punter/kicker

Wad may get back in on Sunday but you have to remember that Diedrick will most likely be added and he is Canadian too. I could see both Maurer and Dubuc come out.
