    Possible Roster Moves...

With veteran Toronto quarterback Damon Allen exploiting the Esks' secondary during Sunday's setback, don't be surprised if Higgins summons free safety Quincy Coleman from Edmonton. Offensive lineman Carlo Panaro and running back Reggie White are also good bets to figure in the mini-airlift. Slotback Terry Vaughn (leg) or wide receiver Ed Hervey (knee) could possibly give way to White on the roster.

TV and Swerve? didn't realise they were banged up.......(you guys said a little something about swerve that I didn't hear watching the broadcast), that sucks more than a little. considering the damage swerve caused last time.

Coleman should have been in last game, Nash got us off on the wrong foot by missing that early tackle on Miles and letting him turn a 10 yard play into a 42 yarder.

It would suck if TV had to sit out, he was outstanding last game. He's by far the best run after the catch receiver I've ever seen. If one of them are out I'd assume that Ralph would take the 4th receiver spot and Nowacki would become our 5th receiver. Would be interesting to see what White could do.

If Mass isn't playing it would be nice to have TV in there to help Bart, with some quick hitters. But with the way the secondary has been playing lately and the steady improvement of Brock Ralph I think that we should be OK.

I am extremely curoius to see what White will do if he gets in. IMO that offense misses having a couple of backs who can come out of the backfield and catch the ball a la Mills and Pringle from last year... Bertrand dropped a couple of sure TDs last week..

IMO Bertrand is a solid special teams player but he is not an everydown fullback.

In fact I'd go so far as to say he really has no business playing fullback in the CFL.

Just my opinion and it doesn't count for much.

According to Hall's report , Maas is going to Winnipeg and will be good to play ( more on that later he says) White will play and Hervey is back in Edmonton with an undetermined Injury.

well you guys alluded to the swerve injury after the game the other night.....so no surprise I guess that he can sit this one out.....sounds like Jay must be feeling better, I'd still start Bart to err on the side of caution. I would also like to see another legitimate back in the backfield alongside Mike. White could be our starting tailback next year, I'd also like to see more of what this guy brings to the table.....

It's also important to find a way to get your practice roster guys on the field sometime during the season. They are more likely to be happier and stay around if they get some playing time. I hope Hervey is just nicked.

Actually, I agree with you 100% about Bertrand. Although I question his special teams play as well, especially since I've seen him on the ground frequently after a play. I'm not sure how tough he is, but I'll watch him more carefully on special teams next time.
