OK, I'll start:
1) The O-line continued their usual impersonation of swiss cheese. How many times did Ray have 2-3 BC players in his face within seconds?
2) Speaking of Ray, he pulled out another stinker. What on earth happened to the guy that led our team to two consecutive Grey Cup appearances? Somebody sabotaged Ricky Ray and is wearing the #15 jersey...
3) It would be nice to have a game go by where Chris Morris doesn't take a holding penalty and Donnie Brady doesn't get called for PI. The usual costly penalties continue to eat this team alive.
4) On more than a few occassions, our receivers caught a serious case of droppitis. They better find a cure for that before the playoffs start.
5) Again, playcalling on offence was questionable.

These basically mirror my thoughts, I thought our much maligned tackles had good games overall. The interior of the line was crappy, how many times a game can a guy come right up the middle untouched? I am feebly praying that we are holding off on a large section of the play book for the playoffs, our playing calling is still pretty bad. Ray had a bad game in my mind. He was not moving too well to the sidelines at one point so I think he's hurting a wee bit. I wonder also if he's getting a tired arm from the absourd amount of passing for most of the year.Originally posted by Frito's FanComment

I do, however, think we need to take more shots deep. We don't try to stretch the D at all. Printers completion percentage wasn't so good, but at least he gave it a shot....many, many, many times. With guy's like Hervey and Tucker, what is stopping us? I don't get it.Originally posted by esks4life

It has for the last 4 games, but thats been the opositions # 1 game plan, bacause of what Ray has done earlier this season. You won't see big passing from the esks any more this year. Our plan is to run and short pass to get 1st down, and whatever it takes to get the win, and I think even Ricky Ray is happy about that.Originally posted by Angelus

I agree. Then they try to get aggressive at the end of the game and whaddya know........it works!!! Go figure. Greatest receivers in the CFL can actually catch a deep ball. I think Ray's deep ball would improve if he got to try it more than once (or none) a game.I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.Comment

Ricky was off on a lot of his throws tonight......seems like a timing problem, he is a split second late with everything. Just weird.
That is the problem with the deep ball, they're being underthrown because he is a second late and they are getting over ran......also the hitters across the middle were behind the receivers a LOT tonight....that used to be Rick's forte' (leading the ball so the receiver caught it in full flight) there were a bunch of drops tonight because the ball was behind the target.Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.Comment

Actually it was McGrath who got nailed a few times with holding.. one of them was on the opposite side of the play on the TD that was called back

I think some things didn't work too well tonight. I think they were better prepared. I think our play calling was suspect at best. The best thing, however, was that I actually saw us play better at the END of the game then at the beginning. That's close to a first, and a very encouraging sign.
I also saw us WIN a game that we could have lost. Normally, the Esks try to find a way to lose....not try to find a way to win.I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.Comment
