I would surely like to see Joe here as OC and let Coach Cioch focus on being a head coach and let joe do the play calling, i like the way he play calls he runs at least MORE THAN 1 FREAKING TRICK PLAY A SEASON

Joe-P can't do any worse than RLJ IMO!!! Bring some life and creativity to the offensive side of the ball... give Davis 15+ touches a game and odds are .... WE WIN !!!!!!!!!

Surely things haven't degenerated to the level that these two (RDL and Poo Poo) are the last two O. C.s left on the planet, are they? If so, I think we'd be better off letting the players draw up their own plays in the dirt during the huddle !
What ever happened to the concept of RECRUITMENT of new coaches ?
I'm tired of the same old incompetent faces being recycled around the league. If your old school buddy needs a job, go ahead, help him out. Just not on my fr*****g team.

My husband brought up an interesting idea.
Maas said flat out that he doesn't want to leave Edmonton, and we all thought 'you mean in the offseason you want to live here'. Maybe he means, the shoulder and back are not what they should be, the Doctor's have told him one hit and he's done. So what he really means is, *he* wants to be our Offensive coach next year, or at the very least, be the quarterback coach.

that'd be sweet.... IIRC he has said before he'd love to end up coaching here in the future... I just dont think his playing days are done

Like most fans, I'd LOVE to see this; but do you really think that he doesn't want to play anymore, especially after waiting so long and rehabbing to do so? That would also intimate that RLJ is on the outs with the coaching staff (and baby Hughie), which doesn't seem to be the case. At any rate, here's to the hope that there even would be a new OC.
