Even After We Win The Grey Cup...

....Danny Maciocia should be fired. HE is the biggest single problem with the Eskimos.

Ricky Ray didn't just all of a sudden become a mediocre QB. We all know what he can do. We all know what our D can do. We all know that Jason Maas is awesome as well.

The problem, my good friends, is with coaching. Specifically, Danny Maciocia and Ronald D (for Dumbass) Lancaster.

Oh and one more note...yes Jason Maas threw a TD today, but Maciocia only put him in because he though Maas wouldn't and it would shut up all of his critics. It was an insult to Maas and Eskimo fans in general.

And...um...note to Eskimo players...losing is one thing. Not showing up is disgraceful. All of you.

Don't forget he's a rookie HC. He will improve. You wouldn't expect a rookie CB to shut down Ben Cahoon every game would you? It takes time to grow into the position.

Just so you know, I do believe the Esks major problem this season has been coaching/playcalling. But I'd give Maciocia another season, to see if he's learned any lessons from this season. If nothing has changed, then you turf him.
There is a reason they hired him. He is a smart football man, and has succeeded in all he's done so far. He didn't get stupid over the course of a year. He just needs to learn how to be a successful HC.
These pretzels are making me thirsty.

You have one of the most physically talented teams in the CFL in some time, and you choose THIS YEAR to let him learn his lessons?

As an edit, coaches given this much talent to win learn from mistakes over the course of games, not seasons...

He''l be back next year as he should. However he has to look at all phases of the team and treat them alike, if you can get a better player you get him. If you can get a better coach you should. I still say his biggest blunder of any during his tenure as coach was hiring RDL.

(If by any chance he was fired I'd lead the get rid of Campbell brigade as he would have clearly shown he had lost it totally.)

I think he needs to have a guy who's sole job is to be OC. And I DON'T MEAN RDL!
