I wonder what is wrong with RR? Why are his throws so off these days? Do they start him as he has a good record against the Lions?

Re: Who will start in BC?
Ray starts, but DM has to be clear in the media this week that Maas likely sees action as well, especially if RR stumbles.Originally posted by DieselI would not be surprised of upset if Ray starts. I think he will.
Maas did a great job today, but it doesn't make him the starting QB. As far as I'm concerned, this team matches up with BC a lot better than they do with Calgary, so I think either guy could get it done against the Lions.

I think they should start Maas.... he got them to the danceLook. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

You could make the same argument for Ray getting them to 11-7. We don't know what the alternative would have been.Originally posted by Inquiring MindI think they should start Maas.... he got them to the dance
I think DM makes it clear that Maas playing is definately in the plan. Unlike the bogus Bart "Doc" Hendricks experiment in summer 2003, we've got two guys who could make the 2QB system actually work.Rhodes to Nowhere - GTFO Len!

I still think it's too early for this thread, but apparantly I'm too weak to stay away from the debate...
I think Ray should start. He's beat the Lions twice this year. And you give him more than just a couple of series to get going. If it becomes clear that a change is needed, we've got Maas ready to go.These pretzels are making me thirsty.

Edmonton will start... strong and purposeful. As a team they will overcome.Turf Toe:

- "Turf toe can often progress into a chronic problem..."
- "A mild instance of turf toe (grade 1) can be merely aggravating while a serious case (grade 3) can be debilitating."

Originally posted by HD~SilveradoI'm to wondering whats going on with RR. I think there has got to be something physically wrong. Not that he has been bad but...........I dunno, weird anyways.
IMO i think he's injured.... his throws are way different than they where at the beginning of the season...
IMO Ray starts, but is put on a short leash

I concur. Ray was our starter the whole season, and although Maas pulled this one out for us, Ray will prolly start next week but will be on a very short leash.Go Eskies!
