What did you think of the overhead cameras?

I thought they looked cool to begin with but I hated them. It was hard to tell how many yards were being gained on each play.

CBC also did a poor job of showing how much time was left in each quarter. They rarely put the clock up. I know as I was trying to time supper for the kids for the half.

Overhead cam- like the angle, but they should only use it on replays, not for live game action.

I think that those cameras would be great for replays, but I wish they wouldn't use them for live plays. It's nice to see that we're trying to evolve our game (apparently it's been confirmed that we'll have instant replay next season as well), just don't go nutbar with the camera angles, it was very frustrating to watch.

I loved it for live plays. You could see what Ricky (or Anthony) sees. I thought it was great.

I agree, it was fine for a replay but not the live play.

yea i didnt really like the overhead cameras either, ur also right about the clock, although i agree that the cameras would be pretty good for replays or mabe highlights

I didn't mind it for the live play, but I'd rather just use it for replays. It'd be even better when combined with a Tele-strator ...QB-vision, pointing out receivers, etc.

I didn't like for live play....but my wife LOVED THEM for replay...and so did I.

Kudos to the CFL and the CBC...that camera angle was all the rave at the G.C. party I was at....

Great for replay and they should be used sparingly for live plays.

I didn't mind the added unique angle that the cameras afforded; however, I found it frustrating when they were used during live action. In those instances, it was difficult to follow the play, especially when trying to discern whether the team on offense got the necessary yardage.

They are ok but not for live play. They should replay plays like the Thompkins TD on regular angle if they showed it originally on overhead.

Agreed. Although it made it look like the kick was twice as far as it really was.
