Was anybody at the first session of today's TC? I showed up for the second session to find out it was cancelled due to rain, but I got an e-mail from the esks with notes from camp, and it says that Gaylor and Brady starting throwing punches? Anyone know what's up?

Re: Brady and Gaylor fighting?
Wasn't there today but as I commented to EL yesterday I was surprised there hadn't been a scrap up until that point. Nothing to worry about folks, there were a few donnybrooks last year as well. All part of camp and guys fighting for their livelyhoods.I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Yeah, didn't think it was a big deal, just wondering what had led up to the punches. I guess rain makes even Pro athletes cranky.Originally posted by DieselWasn't there today but as I commented to EL yesterday I was surprised there hadn't been a scrap up until that point. Well since no one seems to have gone, here's what I got from the Esks...
ESKIMO TRAINING CAMP NOTES - DAY 5
§Notable and quotable – DB Keyuo Craver on competing against newcomers Roosevelt Williams and Jonte Buhl "I know Roosevelt from the NFL Draft class of 2002 and Jonte is a Texas boy. This business is a circle and you never know when you’ll find each other".
§Camp Scrap – The Ducks – Oilers are not the only ones in a fighting mood these days. Veteran DB Donald Brady and WR Trevor Gaylor came to blows today. Eskimo Head Coach Danny Maciocia was unfazed by the fisticuffs, saying "I’ve been to 10 camps and there are always fights".
§A torrential early morning downpour forced the cancellation of the second practice.
§Radio Rights and Rings– Eskimo C.O.O. and President Rick LeLacheur presented long time Eskimo play by play broadcaster Bryan Hall with a 2005 Grey Cup ring. LeLacheur and 630 CHED General Manager Doug Rutherford jointly announced that the Eskimos and 630 CHED have agreed to a new multi-year radio rights deal. 630 CHED has been the voice of the Eskimos for the last 12 seasons.
§Eskimo Receiver Rob Leblanc is keeping a camp diary that will be published periodically in the Edmonton Journal.
The following players did not take part in today’s sessions:
•Jason Nugent (knee rehab)
•Randy Spencer (calf strain)
•Nicolas Bisaillon (lower body)
•Mathieu Bertrand (groin)
•Chris Collins (hamstring)
•William Loftus (shoulder rehab)
•Mike Maurer (right foot)
•Tony Tompkins (calf strain)
Schedule – Friday, May 26
9:00 am – 11:10 am
Players and coaches are available for interviews following the second practice session

Turf Toe:
- "...turf toe is a common malady that is more of a nuisance than a serious injury."
- "Turf toe can often progress into a chronic problem..."
- "A mild instance of turf toe (grade 1) can be merely aggravating while a serious case (grade 3) can be debilitating."
