A couple notes....

The 9 millionth (not sure if that is a word) fan will come through the turnstyles with the 3,436th fan that enters the stadium, and will be given the honors of being the honorary captain for the game as well as participate in the coin toss.

Also....It is buy a burger get a free ticket day at Commonwealth again. So buy a burger and get a ticket to the July 20th game vs Winnipeg...In which we hopefully exact some revenge for the drubbing we suffered last Saturday!!

All in all should be a good game, so come out early, buy a burger and leave your peanuts at home...

They scan in the tickets now.........They may have programmed something into the scanners......Or maybe they are gonna just pick Hughies cousins neices husband....who knows....

The tickettakers use electronic hand held thingys..no more ripping of ticket..no more turnisles checks the barcode and logs it... you'll see come Sept 8th

Just to help those out on this board as being the 9 millionth fan, here is a heads up on how to get that selection, or at least not eliminate yourself by going through the wrong gate....

LUCKY FAN: The 3,346th fan inside Gate 6 at Commonwealth Stadium tomorrow night will become the nine millionth individual to attend a regular season game at the facility and will be in for quite a treat.

That fan will be escorted from the turnstile to field level where the Eskimos will make that person an honorary captain for the game.

We do that in BC too...have for a couple of years now. It's nice to keep the entire game ticket for a souvenir.

I suggest that you Eskie folks keep your tix from this one. After a Bomber embarressmant, the Lions will be lucky to escape with their hides intact.

BC will be hard pressed to stay within 2 TDs.

There's a chance I'm travelling to Edmonton tomorrow, and if so, I'll be there! Haven't been to an Esks game in almost two years.

And for the record, the Esks have a great record when I attend games. (unlike their home record when I don't attend...)
