It's official... TT to rock CW July 28th!

I didn't know what other forum to put this in, but seeing that it centres around an Eskie game I figured this was as good as any!

I'll be in town from July 21 to the 30th. My oldest nephew is getting married on the 22nd (and who else would be MCing the reception? )

After spending some time with the family and a quick trip to the mountains it'll be off to CW on the 28th to watch the dismantling of the Als.

I know most folks have their own routines pre-game, but I'd be up to get involved somewhere. Pre-game food and beverages?

Now one thing my friends and I did back in the 'dawn of time' (late 70s early 80s) was to meet at a spot at CW. We actually scratched an 'X' into a sidewalk slab on the end opposite from the big screen. All we had to do was say 'meet you at the X at the half' and everyone knew.

So... Where will our Esksfans "virtual X" be? Being the selfish bastage I am, I'll suggest the concourse near Section X or W or Y.

    And then after the game?

works for me.....I can go out for a smoke on either side of the east concourse....

going as in 'travelling'? that's up in the air (and no, that doesn't mean I'm willing to try parachuting into the stadium... I've seen what happens! )

As for sitting... there is no place for me other that X-30-1&2 as it has been since 1978. Bro is in X-31-1&2, nephews in X-32-1&2 and X-29-1&2 (though some of those may be available what with one of them getting married and all).

edit-- Actually I think my bro also now has either 31-3&4 or 32-3&4.

Well you're more than welcome to make a visit to Q 18 (1&2) for there you'll find in our neighborhood, Wilkie, Sec Q, Red Headed Stepchild, Maurice, Quake, and Yours Truly

I'll also be in town for that week, and I might be at that game too.

Holy crap, your family is almost right next to where my family sits. Section W, row 25, seats 16 and 17 since Commonwealth opened. Do you know any of the Edson crew that sit in section W? There are probably 20 or 30 of them sitting in W. I guarantee you've probably seen me there a time or two as well, I'm around 6'5 230 so I tend to stick out.

I couldn't say that I do know any of those folks... you have to remember I've been living in Ontario since '95 and am lucky to get to 1 game/season at CW!!

But IIRC, there are some guys that my brother knows around that spot. One guy nicknamed Ziggy who always used to get quite hammered!
