I would like to see Pringle NOT ONLY get the rushing record but also the TD record as well...it would make this week seem "more worth it".


I'm glad that Brady is back in. Still...Printers will be tough to contain and Geroy Simon (as much as I dislike his antics) is turning out to be a stud receiver. This is the battle for first, IMO, and I think the Esks will come out fired up.

I see them winning a close one. Likely 30 - 27

If the Esks get physical and disrupt the Lions players from running free down field and the secondary has a good game tackling I think we have a good shot. We can't be letting them toss a 5 yard swin pass and then run for 40.

When I was twelve I also soberly predicted to my mother that I'd be fabulously wealthy after a 13 year in the NFL...


Lions have made believers out of me... They are for real.

IMO They've adressed their two weak spots in the offseason- D-line and dbs... Didn't see it coming.. Just goes to show you how great Mr Ackles is as a talent scout..

Add those elements in with the emergence of C Printers and you have one humbled and failed CFL prognosticator...

Lions have made believers out of me... They are for real.

IMO They've adressed their two weak spots in the offseason- D-line and dbs... Didn't see it coming.. Just goes to show you how great Mr Ackles is as a talent scout..

Add those elements in with the emergence of C Printers and you have one humbled and failed CFL prognosticator...

On the other hand..........you have me , although had Printers been named starter, I would not of been as bold as I was. The CFL has way too many intangibles to make an accurate prediction, other than the Esks in the playoffs.

I agree on the Simon antics of last year, you don't see them this one, at least on catches,that I recall.

I'm picking the Esks by 3, but now that Jed's picked against the Esks, I'm slightly worried...

Other predictions:
1) Winston October will have a stellar game, either at returning, receiving or both. Watch for it!
2) Geroy Simon will pull a muscle dancing...
3) Mike Pringle will get the rushing record
4) Casey Printers will throw two interceptions.
5) The D will bend but not break.
