Moving on from all the depressing loss threads

Two questions: First does anyone know why Bertrand wears a #41 jersey with no name before the game and second what esks memorabilia do you guys have that different from an autographed jersey? I for example have an autographed Wruck card and a ball signed by the whole team.
If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes should fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

There are a few players that choose to wear a 'warm-up' jersey. From my understanding it has to do with superstition and sometimes they just want to start the game with fresh threads. (Some players tend to get a little sweaty...)

Quincy Stewart had No. 36 on in practice too.

the reason why some players wear a different jersey in warmups is because the game jersey is taped to the shoulders pads before the game, and we don't wear shoulder pads in warmups.

So, is it just those guys who have their jerseys taped to the pads?

There are a number of players that tape their jerseys, but they have more than one jersey...some players have the same number, other players use spare jersey's until the team can get a second jersey for them for warm-ups.

I'm not sure if you're someone within the esks organization or not, but thanks for the info.

For memorabilia, we have a Grey Cup 2003 worn eskimo helmet signed by 90% of the team.

I own arguably the most famous helmet of the last 25 years from an Eskimo player - Jason Tucker's helmet where he made that catch in the endzone and the hat goes flying when he hits the ground. I may post a photo of it later.
