I always love a good conspiracy theory....or no wait....I mean I hate them....

No matter. I was just thinking that before the season my good friend, and by good friend I mean person I have never met, Eric Tillman called for the Eskimos to miss the playoffs for the first time in 34 years...

Now some 5 months later Mr Tillman is the GM of the team that we are battling for a playoff position, even though it is somewhat like bringing a rubber chicken to a knife fight...

Coincidence??? Could it be that the league commissioner Hugh Campbell predetermined that the Esks would not make the playoffs, Eric Tillman would be GM of the Riders and Lance Bass would be gay?? Could it be that perhaps this is all some elaborate collaborated scheme of Roy Shivers, Chris Pronger and Boss Hogg to rid this city of any pride and joy that we once had....

The only flaw is that EE will NOT miss the playoffs this year. Sask. will not win another game this year. EE will win enough (including the last game against Susk.) to squeak in.
Then listen to the howls of conspiracy coming from Suskatchewan. I can't wait !!

I never believed in conspiracy theories.

Then I watched the last 4 seconds of the Winnipeg/Eskimo game in slow motion.

Over on the grassy sideline, you can clearly see Rick Campbell getting an alien prevent defense mindwipe. To cover that up, Malcom Frank claims to have tripped over a weather balloon.

If you look very closely at any CFL game, you will see that the players are really only puppets...marionettes, really...look up....you'll see Hugh Campbell.

this is all Hugh's doing.... After last years thrilling GC run and win, he couldn't figure out a ever more thrilling way to make the playoffs and eventually the grey cup - then it hit him -

lets have DM seem like he couldn't coach outta a paper bag
lets release and re-sign some players
Lets seem like we have no Defense or offense
lets lose some games on the last play
lets have the Esks suck all season long - and then at the end of the season "squeak" into the playoffs
then in the playoffs unleash TRUE Eskimo football, the fans are acustom to seeing..

there now that would be more thrilling
