Oil Kings

So, since this is 'Edmonton Hockey', and not 'Oiler Hockey', I will put this in this area - mods, please move if you deem it inappropriate.

Just wondering if anyone has dipped in and bought a Founder's Membership to the Oil Kings. I am wavering on it as we speak, as 2006 has blessed me with the ability to consider such purchases.

I'm seriously considering it. Would consider going half for a pair as I work in a industry that requires me to work shift. But I'd love to get in on the ground floor for the new Oil Kings.

That's what I'm thinking as well. My business would foot a lot of the bill, and my dad use to play at the old Gardens, so there's a lot of reasons to get them.

My friend and I got our two pair at the end of November. Sec.120, row 15.

Great deal IMO.

This team won't be a flop like the Ice were.

My nephew is already being scouted by WHL teams, so that will be interesting seeing him at Rexall.

I love watching WHL action. Went to a game last night. You never know when you might see the next star in the making. This may be one Edmonton team I might not follow as I do like the Regina Pats.

UPDATE:

So I went to the Dallas game on Jan. 4 - and put my MC # down on a deposit. I was told my seats and said to expect an email the next day.

I have not heard from them since - 2 weeks later!

They have not called or emailed, and I have sent them at least 1 or 2 emails through their Oil Kings website. They do not have a number for the Oil Kings.

They also haven't taken the deposit out yet....

I seriously considered it as well. How many founders seats are left? Last I heard it was down to 20.
