What, no comments on the game last night? (25Oct07)

Saw the highlights. Gagner, what a move. Hemsky, what a move.
Surely there should be some comments from those who watched this game on pay-per-view, or in person, seeing as from all accounts it was a very entertaining game.
    Please discuss!

Didn't see the game, but I was surprised to see a 4 pt. game for Horcoff, 3 assists for Torres, and 3 goals for Hemsky

I concluded that Horc is twice as smart as Cryin Ryan cuz he scores off other peoples bodies, not his own.
Speaking of which, no tears again.

Great win for the Oilers against a team that just sucks the life out of hockey. I think I hate Minny more than any other team, at least it will usually be a good game either way vs the Flames.

I didn't see it. I figured, why bother spending money to see them lose 2-0 again...

Bloody Oil. NOW they show up...

Keep in mind it WAS against Harding. We still haven't scored on Backstrom in pushing-200 minutes (or whatever it is).

We should be as lucky as the Leafs, they faced the other teams backup goalie in about 5 games in a row.

That's just because they know the Leafs suck so much that they can put the back-up in there and still come out with a win.

                  Oil snap a losing streak...

Oil beat the purveyors of all this is unholy in the NHL...

Someone other than Gagner Or Cogliano scored...

Some of the vets on the team did something to earn their fat contracts...

In the past 2 games all the players pegged for the 1st line, Hemsky, Horcoff, Penner, have scored...

We scored both on the power play and in a shootout, without our big offensive d-men I may add...

What a douche Lemaire is. I hope the Wild tank it and Lemaire gets his ass whooped and never gets a job in the NHL again...promoting watered down talent and a boring style of hockey.......one guy does the scoring and everyone else just *#&^$s around in the neutral zone.

My sentiments before the game exactly.

                      Sigh.

Since I like to show up when he stinks, I will say (based on the numbers, did not watch the game) Good game by Horcoff! I think I will laugh every time I see that Hemsky shootout goal.

This game was on PPV was it not? Probably why there's not much talk. I saw on the ticker that it was 3-0 at one point. And we ended up winning 5-4 in a SO. Sounds like they got sloppy.

I was at the game with Ol'Jase. very entertaining game. Honestly, in spite of the defending the guy is getting, I really don't think that Grebeshkov is good enough for the NHL. A lucky no look pass to Hemsky was all he contributed all night. That was luck, not skill. No need to rave on about it like Gregor was after the game. The guy played a terrible game, again. Ol'Jase said it best. He just isn't very good. He treats the puck like it has cooties.

And, it's hard to know what to think of Horcoff. The play will die with him repeatedly, and you'll yell at him all night, but then he'll end up with 4 points on the scoresheet and be the #1 star. He kills the play a lot, but still ends up contributing. He ends up being at the right place at the right time. That can't all be luck.

Finally, 4 on 4 oertime, after we've wintessed howler after howler from Grebs, who does MacT send out there to play 4 of the 5 minutes? Grebs. And who sat so he could play? Tarnstrom, who was our best defenseman the game before.

Gagner and Cogliano continue to play really well. Smid had a great game and showed us why it was a dumb ass move to send him down in the first place.

The best Oiler for the second game: Mucho Raffi Torres.
