    8-1 Oilers?

    It says something for this team that they win 8-1 ON THE ROAD with 2/3rds of their top line (Hemsky/O'Sullivan) not getting a point.

    It says something.
    I just don't know what.


    Gagner gets 3 goals and an assist.
    Kotalik with 3 points.
    These pretzels are making me thirsty.

    O'Sullivan had an assist.

    Sucks though that so far the Nucks and Sharks aren't really doing their jobs...

        I know, I know...I probably shouldn't laugh, but damn did the 'Lanche ever get their a$$es kicked tonight!

        Hopefully this is a big confidence booster for Gagner and Kotalik. It'd be nice to see those two get on a roll...

                    Weird stat of the night: Gagner 3 shots-3 goals.

                    Nice to see stat of the night: Other than Grebeshkov at 24 minutes and Souray at 21 minutes, not a single other Oiler played more than 20.

                      Good night for Sam.

                      Hemsky and Horcoff are both due for a big night. They're doing a ton of little things right (Horcoff actually kicked that puck from his right skate to his left skate to his stick for the tap in...), and eventually it'll blow out.

                      Tomorrow night would be a fantastic time for that to happen.

                            Not to downplay an 8-1 win, but I'm amazed at how the Avs folded after the 3rd and 4th goals. They completely quit.
