Eklund's theory is to mention every possible option and one of them will be right.

I don't put alot of stock in what he says.

Although if the Flames got JBo and lost Phaneuf, I can't even explain how much that would upset me.

Why would the Flames deal Phaneuf, signed to a long term deal, for Bouwmeester... when they could just sign Bouwmeester for free on July 1? Doesn't even begin to make sense.

Tambs went on a huge rant about adding size... and goes after Gionta? . Right.

Tambs and Lowe are in Switzerland right now, interviewing Messier (for what, we don't know...). How exactly is that gaining momentum?

3 main reasons:

1. Perhaps Sutter is starting to realize he overpaid for this guy

2. 4 1st round playoff exits in 4 years=blow up the team - starting with the most tradeable assets

3. The Homo Flamers have even less cap space than the Oilers do - so they can't sign him as a FA unless they unload a ton of cap space 1st.

This rumour is making the rounds in other places, as well. It seems feasible. Can't say I like the thread title. It suggests Eklund doesn't have egg on his face, which we know isn't true. I'd hate to see JayBo in Calgary. I think it could happen.
