Oilers name Pat Quinn Head Coach, Renney Associate

That is what is being said on the HF boards. Guy Flamming indicated that the oilers are going to announce the new coach but did not have a name.

"The Pipeline Show has learned that the Oilers will announce the hiring of a new head coach today. We have not yet been able to determine who it is."

If it is a new coach announcement, I'm a little surprised it is so early. I didn't expect to hear about that until after playoffs!
