Too funny, the Weightless Blues beat the Flamers.

I don't know what is funnier? This loss or the one to Columbus?

I better not post this at GSG, I'll get another warning.

Here is an interesting stat, the five other teams who have scored a lowly 130-140 GF have an average of 40.2 points in the standiings.

Calgary currently has 65. Therefore Kipper is good for 25 points.

Without those 25 points, Cowgary would be last in the Northwest, and one of the last place teams in the NHL.

The Calgary Flames blow and are lucky to have Kipper!

The Flames are so overrated.. no Kipper = behind the lowly Minnesota Wild... Edmonton get's a number one goaltender and we'll take the Flames no problem.

And for "how bad" they are, they are still 4 points up on the Oilers. Plus, they've done fairly well against us in the season series thus far...so we can't exactly laugh too hard.

No, they haven't done well against us. Kipper has done well against us.

Kipper will burn out. He is not skipping the Olympics due to an injury. He is dead tired. He needs a rest. Injured players do not play the way he does.

And I bet my left nut the Flames don't even get a sniff of the Stanley Cup.

To say that one player makes or breaks a teams season is just stupid.

It's easy to say without Kipper they do worse than they are now, but you guys are just putting on Copper Shades and ignoring games like the one where Calgary beat E-city 6-5
