All right...that I'll buy. But he's got 2 years left...and our best prospect is on waivers.

Uh...no. I'd be willing to bet he isn't picked up.

I don't really mind the deal all that much. My only concern would be that I really can't see Roloson being a guy that can lead a team to a stanley cup final. But at least he's better than what we had...

We won't pick up another goalie.

This is just a stop gap trade but quite frankly, all I care about is making the playoffs this year. Roloson has on a number of occasions carried teams to big playoff wins and even won series for Minnesota. This year's draft is pure crap so giving up a first rounder means diddly squat. We didn't lose any players from the team as well!

Something tells me Lowe is not done.

People are jumping on this so quick and saying it's a horrible trade. Wait and see what Rolloson does behind a strong Edmonton Oiler defence.

I thought the next big prospect was Dubnyk (SIC)......this gives you a solid vet who can take you through this year and provide leadership for the transition to the younger kids. IMO he is a better goalie than CUJO right now, would you feel the same if the exact same deal was made for Joseph?

Morrison may just clear waivers as well......

All we need is a guy who doesn't let in weak goals. I think we have that now.
