Bingo, cuz there's nothing worse to losing to a team from Calary.
Wait yes, there is....losing to a team from Regina......
Possibly waking up next to something from Planet of the Apes. No, losing to a Calgary team is worse.

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.
Considering the ice surface at the Shark Tank isn't very good the game on Monday may look similar to a game of tennis unfortunately.
Huh? The Tank has one of the best ice surfaces now. They use a state of the art cooling system under the ice to keep it a constant temp. They may have better ice than we do now.

I've seen a few games in the regular season where that cooling system made no difference at all.. the puck was all over the place. Maybe the venue was used the previous night in both instances, but from the games I've seen on television there it hasn't improved that much from past seasons. I guess we'll see. Edmonton still has the best ice surface in the league.

The problem in sothern arenas is not the ice temp but the humidity of the building. Dallas spent 10 mil on their new arena's cooling system but still have lousy ice because they can't de-humidify the place fast enough.
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Actually we've slipped off the top spot to be amongst the best. Our ice plant is in dire need of upgrading. What keeps the ice so keen is the limited amount of times the ice has to be taken out during the season.

We've slipped, but apperently so has everybody else. Just read an article in the Cowtown Sun that said ours wasn't as good as it used to be, but still the best.
I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.
When we lost our ice making gods to the league, we lost a bit of our edge. Still the Edmonton climate and humidity are as much of a factor as well...
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
