I've seen a few games in the regular season where that cooling system made no difference at all.. the puck was all over the place. Maybe the venue was used the previous night in both instances, but from the games I've seen on television there it hasn't improved that much from past seasons. I guess we'll see. Edmonton still has the best ice surface in the league.Comment

Actually we've slipped off the top spot to be amongst the best. Our ice plant is in dire need of upgrading. We've slipped, but apperently so has everybody else. Just read an article in the Cowtown Sun that said ours wasn't as good as it used to be, but still the best.I officially retract my vote for DDS as Prime Minister. He's clearly incompetent.Comment

When we lost our ice making gods to the league, we lost a bit of our edge. Still the Edmonton climate and humidity are as much of a factor as well...There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.Comment
