    There were way too many periods this year where teams went 3 days sometimes even 4 before a game. At one point in the season San Jose had played 4 fewer games then most of the other teams in the western conference as well, which shows the schedule isn't balanced out enough. No team should have any more than 2 games in hand at any given time during the season IMO.

      You're gonna hate next year then, since this year was compacted to compensate for the Olympic break.

            Baseball is just boring. Pitch... 5 minute break... Pitch 2 minute break... pitch ... foul ball ... pitch ect. Rinse and repeat for 4 hours.

                Can't watch much regular season baseball, but the playoffs are awesome to watch.
                I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

                  Every once in awhile I enjoy laying on the couch on a Sunday afternoon watching a ball game, drinking a Coke, and reading a decent book.

                        I like baseball. Although I'm not a Jays fan, they have a pretty decent team this year. They could really make some noise if they can get another decent starter into their rotation.

                          Unfortunately for the Jays (and their fans) they play in the same division as the Red Sox and the Yankees which makes a playoff berth next to impossible.

                            The Yanks are old and injured. Johnson and Rivera are a shadow of their former selves. Mussina is the only good arm they have left. It is not a stretch to say they'll miss the playoffs entirely.

                            The BoSox are a different story. But it's a long season...and the Jays have the bats. If they can get consistent performances from their starters, they have a shot. There's always the Wild Card too...
