Hey JCR, do you still hate Hemsky after last nights game after the big hit he took and then scored the winning goal by batting it out of the air while skating by?

Just can not figure out why you hate him so much, I know he passes too much but he scores some beauties.

I'm surprised no one's talking much about Spacek, he had a huge game last night, broke up about 5 good scoring chances for the Ducks by himself.

The whole defence is playing terrific. They're a big part of why we've won more than twice the games we've lost. Smith and Staois. Wow!

I still want to see Simpson get fired, but that is not going to happen now. I just don't think he is a good coach, and our power play shows it. we spend way less time set up on our power play then our opponents do, and many of our power play goals are more of a result of lucky bounces then good power play execution. Hemer though is still young, he will come around.

Like I said before on another thread. Based on the Oilers' regular season performance, especially down the stretch, where they always tanked the big game, anybody who says that "we should have known the Oilers would do well in the playoffs" is talking out of their ass. They backed into the playoffs and lost important games against St. Louis and Columbus and others. They sucked. And I don't think I was the only fan in this town frustrated by Craig MacTavish's "Alberta Scramble" system of hockey.

As for Hemsky, yes he has talent. But he is so frustrating to watch that someday he will be solely responsible for the heart attacks of dozens of fans. I have stated before, I may yet warm to him, but he must stop trying to use The Force when playing hockey first.

can't blame alot of people who didn't think the Oilers weren't going to go far in the playoffs, the played like ****. They are a completely different team now. All you can do is look good upon those who stuck with the team when they did play like ****

Criticizing doesn't equal "not sticking by them". I will always root on the Oilers. But I call 'em as I sees 'em. Just like every fan.
