1. Hemsky - best Oiler on the ice. A fair number of the shots were his.

2. Samsonov - worked hard.

3. Jason Smith - too bad you didn't break Brind'Amour's ribs.

4. Jussi - they hung you out to dry.

5. Laraque - tried to stir up trouble but everyone is too chicken of him. On the last penalty the arm was coming up before the hit.

Where were the rest? Did they dress? Where was Pisani? Peca? Even big Pronger was near invisible. Horcoff, was he even on the ice? I'd name more but why bother? I don;t think they were dressed. I think I found our farm team! It is no longer missing.

Horcoff was brutal. Seemed like everytime he had the puck he didn't know what to do with it. Also, Hemsky gave the puck away multiple times while on the PP.

Brind'Amour will win the Conn Smythe. Not Ward.

If the Conn Smythe was awarded today, I'd vote for Stillman.

Ward has been good, not great. He is not the reason the Canes are where they are.

Being named first star is like being named Walby's warrior of the game. First it don't mean shat, and second it really isn't indicative of what ACTUALLY happened during the game.

No goals. No matter how good any goalie is, it takes a lack of something by the losing team to score NO goals in a playoff game.

Hemsky may have been the best OIler on the ice, but he didn't score. No Hemsky, no Smyth, no Pronger, No Stoll, no Horcoff, no Pisani, no.....no nothin!
