I know tonight has been heart wrenching, and just incredibly digusting... but believe.... this team can win two in Edmonton, and we can take this series in 6 just like we did against the San Jose Sharks.....

That's not a team that's going to blow a 2-0 series lead.

Look...one thing everyone is completely ignoring here is that Carolina played a horrible horrible game one. Despite that, we still couldn't beat them. They were much better tonight and will be better as the series goes on.

With Roli...I'd say maybe we'd have a chance. But without him, against a team as good and as deep as theirs, in the Stanley Cup finals...sorry...you can flame you, you can call me a bandwagon jumper, you can say I'm not a fan...but this series is over.

Explain to me...........please...............how Carolina can't have a bad couple of games. They are stock full of veterans...yes. They do have a hot goalie....yes.
Everything seems to be stockpiled against the Oil. And if I was a betting man I'd put money on the Canes, but...There was a time when I didn't think the Esks had a hope in hell of winning, and neither did you.

That is why they play the ****ing game!

Carolina is too good.

They don't have a weakness.

Sure they do. They have a goalie who appears to allow alot of rebounds. They have a defence core that is prone to allowing the Oilers to cycle the puck and control the play on the forecheck. They have a distinct lack of grit on their first three lines. They can be out-hit and out-worked.

They are good. But they are not unbeatable.

It won't be easy, but it's possible.

It's not. But IMO, even at their best, they won't win this series. Not now.
