    Weird Flame fan

    Trust me, my wife isn't as much of a diehard as I am, today at the hospital that she works at, one of the respiratory techs went all over the hospital sticking up signs stating the Canes are 2-0 and to eat it Oiler fans.

    The guy is a Flames fan. He also stuck signs saying he'd trade tickets to game three for any Canes Memorabilia (he doesn't have tickets).

    Can you believe an adult would act in such a manner? My wife told him he was really mature and that it must be nice he doesn't have anything better to do with his time. She couldn't believe it.

    My wife hasn’t watched a full game yet and she isn’t losing any sleep over the losses. But she is fully behind the Oilers now that she saw how this guy was acting.

    It’s OK to have fun but his actions were weird to say the least.

      A lot of Canucks fans out here are still feasting on a big bowl of sour grapes.
      They call into the radio station I listen to (99.3 The Fox) when the Oilers lose a playoff game, and think it's the greatest thing in the world.

      There are a few guys at my work that are Canucks fans but would still like to see the Oilers win, and I have noticed a small contingent of Oilers car flags too, so there is support for the Oil in BC. I do like Canucks fans in general because they're fairly knowledgable fans, I just wish that those who don't like the Oilers wouldn't make a point of rubbing it in whenever they lose a game, but I guess there's jerks in every crowd...

        I just think that's f'd because it's a HOSPITAL! Nothing like being a sick Oiler fan, and seeing your Resp Tech crowing about how your hockey team stinks. Guy should be fired, but likely won't.

          Imagine if the doctor that was going to perform a major surgery on you came into the operating room wearing a Flames jersey...

            I'm surprised management didn't do anything about it. Or maybe all it would take is a complaint.

              there are those who get more satisfaction in seeing a particular team lose, than in their own team winning.
              Turf Toe:

                Which hosiptal is he at? I heard through the grapevine that a certain respiratory tech needs minor surgery and it turns out Im qualified!
