Better than dead last or even second last doesn't mean it's in the top third of the 30 teams' PP. I would expect that if we have a member of our staff whose sole job it is to improve the Power Play, we'd better have quite a marked improvement..Originally posted by jcr

The Oilers' PP was 14th out of 30 in the league this year. A HUGE improvement from 29th the previous season.Comment

I thought MacT was great all year. I jumped on him once near the end of the season.

MacT and his coaching staff will be getting calls from around the league to fill certain positions, on certain teams.
Huddy's name has already been mentioned.
The thing with this staff is, they have so much past experience and success, they garner tons of respect from the dressing room, and especially from opposing coaching staffs.
Look how Laviolette flapped his lips with Buffalo's coach Ruff.
He didn't even try any of that crap with MacT and the boys.
