WTF, Florida plays Ohio St for the NCAA title? How does Michigan drop twice in the standings without loosing a game when Florida could barely beat Florida St. two weeks ago?? BCS sucks!

Re: Florida??
A team that wasn't in the top 3 for at least the past 2 months suddenly leapfrogs to #2 after they struggled in half of their wins all year?? The BCS is ******!I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

They say that the Gators had the toughest sched in the country, but that said; it was the Harris and coaches polls that decided to rank them #2....the computer had the Wolverines even. So really this was more of people wanting to give a different team a shot instead of giving the Blue their deserved rematch.
Now as far as their sched goes......sure they played more teams heading to Bowls than anyone else, but they barely eked out wins against some of those clubs. They lost by 10 pts to 11th ranked Auburn (not 3 to the undefeated #1), squeeked by 13th ranked Tennessee and unranked S.Carolina by 1 point. They also couldn't cover 7 points against Georgia, Vanderbuilt, or Floirda State. Other than that, they were beating up on tomato cans.
Compare that to Michigan who had the third toughest sched in the country. Against a common opponant in Vandy, the Wolverines blew them out by 20 and covered 7 points against all opponants with the only exceptions being 7 points even against Penn state and the 3 point loss to the #1 Buckeyes (both on the road).
It's crap!
Bring in a playoff format for the Elite 8 Damn it!Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

Final 4. That would be enoughI will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Re: Florida??
I'd say final four or six. For six give 1&2 a bye then play the winners. The system in place right now is a joke.Originally posted by DieselFinal 4. That would be enough

Re: Florida??
Part of the fun in Basketball is the lower seeds having a chance to win. 16 teams at least. They could start the tournament in December because the conference champs would be meaningless (to me anyway) .When you don't know that you don't know, it's a lot different than when you do know that you don't know.
